Sunday 5th October 2025
In recent weeks, we’ve thought about all we have to be thankful for and how much we’re blessed through the joy and privilege of living generously, in every sense. The climax of our series on Sunday will be our Gift Day, enabling us all to join the excitement and joy of playing our part financially, to whatever extent we’re able, in bringing about the vision that God is giving us.
We've set ourselves a Gift Day target of £30k and the diagram below offers some indication of the kinds of things that our Gift Day may enable us to do, but click here for our Gift Day booklet, where you can read more…
After praying through how to respond, we would love you all to bring your completed forms to St Mary’s on Sunday, where we will receive them as part of our offering during the service. Whether you can join us or not in person, please do pray and invite God to lead you clearly as you consider how you might each be able to respond. On behalf of the PCC, thank you!

Everyone has questions about what life is all about. We believe that everyone should have a chance to share those questions, explore the Christian faith and give their point of view.
Alpha is a place where you can ask those questions in an honest, friendly and open environment. We'll be running a course again in the Autumn, but in the meantime, find out more here...
So many people in our community feel the weight of debt, and we are passionate about helping to release anyone we can from a life sentence of debt and poverty. At St Mary's we are working with Christians Against Poverty to bring good news, hope and freedom. If you need support, we'd love to hear from you.
