With Chipping Norton, the 'Benefice' has 8 other churches: in Kingham & Churchill, Over Norton and 'The 5 Villages' (Salford, Little Compton, Cornwell, Chastleton, & Little Rollright).
Kingham & Churchill
For details about the weekly pattern of services in Kingham & Churchill, please visit their dedicated website.
For quieter, more traditional services, you'll always be welcome in the smaller villages too...
At present, owing to Coronavirus, our usual services are suspended until further notice. The services below show what we hope to return to once restrictions are lifted. There are services at St. Mary's Church, Chipping Norton every Thursday and Sunday. Please see our calendar for more details.
St James', Over Norton
Until lockdown in March 2020, we used to have services here every 1st and 3rd Sundays. Unfortunately - after nearly 7 decades as a place of regular worship - the Chapel will be closing and be returned to its landlords for major restoration and redevelopment works.
Before this happens, we hope to hold a final service in the Chapel as soon as Covd restrictions allow.
The 5 Villages
The usual pattern of services will be as follows:
11am CW Communion with hymns in Cornwell (except January)
11am CW Communion with hymns in Salford
9.15am BCP Communion in Little Rollright (Easter to Harvest, 11am on those festivals)
4pm Songs of Praise in Little Compton (Easter to Harvest)
