Christmas is coming to you!
"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."
This Christmas we won't be able to pack out the church building for our usual services and events, but fear not; instead of you coming to us, we'll be bringing Christmas celebrations to you!
Carols on Wheels . 4pm - 6pm . Sunday 20th
Our Christmas band will be touring Chipping Norton on a festive lorry, bringing you all your favourite traditional Christmas carols. Sing along from your doorway, or just listen in!
Christingle Nativity Trail . 2pm - 4pm . Christmas Eve
Experience the Christmas story in a new way. Walk through the town, finding scenes from the Chistmas story depicted by live actors (and live animals!) Follow the star, meet the shepherds and finally come face to face with the baby Jesus! At the end of the trail we have a gift just for you, which will include everything you need to make your own Christingle.
Christmas Tree Trail . from Friday 4th December
Along with the Methodist Church and with lots of organisations in the town, we're joining in with the Chipping Norton Christmas Tree Trail. You can find our beautifully decorated trees at the church and at The Branch (the old NatWest).
Midnight Service . 11.30pm . Christmas Eve
See Christmas in with a traditional midnight service. (With social distancing and facemasks.)
Christmas Service . Video . Christmas Day
We've joined with Chipping Norton Community Church and Chipping Norton primary schools to create a Christmas Service video, with favourite carols, Christmas readings and plenty of joy and celebration! Happy Christmas!
