What is The Branch?
The Branch is a building with purpose, at the heart of Chipping Norton. It will be a space where we can reach out and serve those in need in our community, helping unlock the potential in each individual - providing practical and emotional support - offering hope and building brighter futures, so that families, friends and neighbourhoods are free to flourish.
The Branch will offer advocacy support, debt centre and Life Skills courses, job clubs, toddler groups, drop-in surgeries with local agencies, IT support, youth activities, a community kitchen, homework club and after school clubs, mental health & bereavement support, and more.
What is The Big Give?
The Big Give Christmas Challenge is an online giving initiative centred on #givingtuesday, which is on 1st December 2020. It is an opportunity to support the work of The Branch Trust, through a donation that will be instantly doubled through match funding! Thanks to generous pledges already in place, the first £20,000 of donations will be instantly doubled.
When is The Big Give?
Midday on Tuesday 1st December to midday on Tuesday 8th December. After #blackfriday and #cybermonday comes an alternative: #givingtuesday which this year falls on 1st December. The Big Give Christmas Challenge then runs for the next week.
How much can I give?
You can give as much or as little you like. All donations up to £20,000 will be doubled, and anything on top of that will be gladly received as well! Whatever you can give, please know that we're really thankful for it! It will be a huge blessing to local families in our community this Christmas, and will help us work towards opening the doors of The Branch for the wider community.

So many people in our community feel the weight of debt, and we are passionate about helping to release anyone we can from a life sentence of debt and poverty. At St Mary's we are working with Christians Against Poverty to bring good news, hope and freedom. If you need support, we'd love to hear from you.
Everyone has questions about what life is all about. We believe that everyone should have a chance to share those questions, explore the Christian faith and give their point of view.
